When Is the NFL Draft 2019? Date, Start Time and TV and Live Stream Info

After months of predictions and endless mock versions, the wait for the NFL Draft is finally over.

One of the most important and polarizing events on the NFL calendar kicks off this week in Nashville, Tennessee.

Over the next three days, a number of questions will be answered. Will Kyler Murray be the number one overall pick? How will Jon Gruden use his bounty of first-round picks?

Here's everything you need to know ahead of the NFL draft.

When and where is the draft?

The 2019 NFL Draft will be held in Nashville, Tennessee, marking the first time the city has hosted the event. The draft main stage will be set in downtown Nashville, while the city's Lower Broadway suburb and the area outside Nissan Stadium will host free, public activities throughout the three days.

Having been held in New York for 14 consecutive years, the NFL Draft has moved around the country over the last three, with Chicago, Philadelphia and Dallas on hosting duties. Last year, the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, became the first football stadium to host the NFL Draft in the history of the league.

The draft begins on Thursday, April 25 and ends on Saturday, April 27. The first round on the opening day is scheduled for 8 p.m. ET, with the second and third round beginning at 7 p.m. ET on the following day.

Saturday will as usual see the last four rounds, beginning from 12 p.m. ET.

Where to watch the NFL draft

For the first time ever, ABC will broadcast all three days of the draft, including two nights of primetime coverage. As usual, the draft will also be broadcast in its entirety on ESPN and NFL Network.

ESPN's "College GameDay" crew will host ABC's coverage of the draft.

"We are excited that the ABC stations will be the only broadcast home for every round of the 2019 NFL Draft," ABC Affiliate Association chairman Brian Lawlor said in a statement as the network announced its plans for NFL Draft coverage.

Online coverage will be available on the NFL's website and via the NFL and ESPN apps. The NFL Draft tracker will host highlights and stats for each prospect and will be regularly updated as the draft progresses.
